LOCAL INSTALLATION VISITS · SANDTON
We take bookings for DStv installations in Westville and the surrounding neighbourhoods. The work can be for a completely new connection, a decoder in a newly occupied home, another viewing point or a setup being planned while the property is renovated.
The decoder may be the same, but the building can change the whole installation. Access, shared equipment and finished surfaces all matter. In Westville, that can mean working at apartments, penthouses, family homes, offices, hotels and retail premises. Tell us which description fits your property and how many televisions need to be included.
Before fitting anything, we discuss the likely dish position, decoder model and cable route. The quotation should identify the agreed equipment and labour. DStv subscription, billing and account authorisation remain separate from the physical installation.
IN AND AROUND SANDTON
Westville City and Nelson Mandela Square are useful references when describing where you are in Westville. We still need the full property address for a confirmed booking.
Our Westville coverage also includes enquiries from Morningside, Rivonia, Parkmore, Benmore Gardens and Strathavon. If your suburb is just outside this list, send it with the enquiry; we will confirm coverage, travel arrangements and appointment availability rather than ask you to guess.
High-rise and managed buildings may use shared equipment. Confirm parking, loading, security and roof-access arrangements with building management. We use local names to help plan coverage, but we do not claim an office at Westville City or Nelson Mandela Square, and no affiliation with a named estate, centre or landmark is implied.
WHAT CAN BE INCLUDED?
The exact equipment depends on the decoder and property. These are the common parts of a new installation conversation.
01
We consider a suitable signal path, secure mounting surface and compatible LNB. Access and permissions are discussed before an external bracket is fitted.
02
Tell us the decoder model you own or plan to use. We connect the agreed equipment and distinguish installation work from account activation handled by DStv.
03
We discuss how the coaxial cable reaches the viewing point, taking existing conduits, finished walls and visible surfaces into account before drilling.
04
Independent viewing and repeating the same picture are different arrangements. Explain what each room should do so compatible options can be discussed.
THE POSITION MATTERS
A short cable is not always the best cable route, and the most hidden dish position may not have a suitable view of the satellite. We balance reception, secure mounting, access for future checks and the appearance of the finished setup.
If the property already has a dish, wall outlet or cable, mention it. Existing equipment may be useful when it is in good condition and compatible with the planned decoder. It is assessed rather than automatically replaced or automatically trusted.
For a renovation or new build in Westville, it helps to decide on viewing points before ceilings and walls are closed. The DStv route can then be discussed with the person managing the project. Electrical work and building alterations are not assumed to be part of the installation quote.
COMPLEXES · ESTATES · MANAGED BUILDINGS
High-rise and managed buildings may use shared equipment. Confirm parking, loading, security and roof-access arrangements with building management.
A communal satellite system belongs to the building or development, not to one resident. We do not make unapproved changes to shared equipment. Send the managing agent’s instructions and let us know whether an outlet already serves the unit.
Have the relevant rooms accessible and keep the decoder, remote, power supply and television accessories together. If other trades are working at the property, say so when booking so the sequence can be agreed.
BOOKING & AVAILABILITY
Call or WhatsApp 060 602 5754 with Westville, your exact suburb or estate, the property type, decoder model and number of viewing points. A safely taken photo of the television area or existing dish can help us understand the request. Never climb onto a roof for a photo.
Booking and availability: Call or WhatsApp to confirm. On-site visits: By confirmed appointment. We check the schedule, access and work involved before agreeing on a time; same-day availability is never assumed.
If the quotation needs an on-site assessment, we will say so. Ask what equipment, labour, travel and additional cable are included before approving the job. Clear scope at the beginning makes the handover much easier.
DSTV INSTALLATIONS · SANDTON
Yes. We take installation enquiries in Westville and around Morningside, Rivonia, Parkmore, Benmore Gardens and Strathavon. Send the exact address so coverage and appointment availability can be confirmed.
Possibly. The dish, LNB, cabling and outlets need to be suitable for the decoder and in usable condition. We assess what can sensibly remain before recommending new equipment.
Yes, the physical layout can be planned for more than one viewing point. Tell us whether you need independent viewing or the same picture repeated, because the equipment and account arrangements differ.
Not unless a written quotation expressly says so. Physical work and DStv account charges, packages and authorisation are separate. Confirm account matters through DStv’s official channels.
Confirm access to the property and relevant rooms. High-rise and managed buildings may use shared equipment. Confirm parking, loading, security and roof-access arrangements with building management. Keep the decoder, remotes and television accessories ready.
Visits are arranged by confirmed appointment. Call or WhatsApp to check the current booking schedule and availability for your area.
